Fáilte Ireland runs primary grading inspections on a two-year cycle for hotels, three-year for guesthouses, and event-triggered for self-catering. Welcome Standard is annual. Inspectors arrive unannounced within a two-week window. The certification tracker sends reminder e-mails at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days out.
